An Open Door Starts with a Safe Place to Park
As this year draws to a close, we're reflecting on the moments that mattered most—the families who found support when they needed it, the shoppers and donations that made it all possible.
One story stays with us.
A community member arrived seeking financial guidance and support during a difficult season. They were already overwhelmed by bills, by uncertainty, by fear of what comes next. What almost stopped them from coming in at all was something simple: Where do I park? Is it safe? Will I be able to get inside easily?
That's when we were reminded of something powerful: the way people arrive matters just as much as what happens once they’re here. Our parking lot is more than pavement. It’s the first welcome. It's what allows us to serve our community with dignity, safety, and care.
As we prepare for the year ahead, we're asking for your support to fund critical improvements to our parking lot, so that every person who needs financial help, guidance, or community resources can access them without added stress or barriers.
